Returning lettermen: Same.
Strengths: Senior leadership, numbers, team chemistry.
Concerns: Quarterback, experience.
Outlook: With a combined 10 years of varsity experience between his running back trio of Vazquez, Joyner, and four-year starter Goucher, Scaduto is optimistic about his backfield. Goucher has been the ideal fullback for a double-wing scheme -- powerful, tough, and not afraid to run through people. Look for Cadigan, who Scaduto calls "a stud," to open up some holes for him. Scaduto's strap-up-and-hit-'em philosophy carries over to the defense, where he will blitz heavily, especially off the edges. There is no negativity with this squad, according to Scaduto. "If someone does something wrong, they'll pat each other on the back and say, 'don't worry about it'," he said. "They're very supportive of each other."
